It has been about a year since the Marini naturals CEO Michelle Ntalami came out to talk about a painful heartbreak she had experienced with a lover whom she did not want to mention but everyone knew was Makena Njeri.
So the business lady yesterday took to her Instagram to reflect on the journey it has been ever since she first came out to talk about it until now. Michelle noted the healing process has changed her and she is no longer the person she was a year ago.

“This month has made me realize that while I am more at peace I am also more intentional about avoiding any people, places, or spaces that can trigger me, and take me back there. We’re all different and we heal differently. For me, the very fact that I’m not the same person who was comfortable enough to keep sharing about my pain is pretty remarkable for my healing. And I thought that is worth sharing with y’all,”she wrote.
Further, she noted that she has learned to be more grateful for the place she is at. In a recent Q&A session on Instagram, one fan asked her whether she still talks to Makena, Michelle simply said, “No.” When probed further she went on to explain why she chooses not to revive her former relationship with ex-Makena, saying, “Everyone wondering whether we still talk- No we don’t. About moving on- Yes I have.”
Michelle further suggested that she still treasures their time together and that she would not be erasing her pictures from her social media accounts like other jilted celebs tend to do: βI will never delete anything on my page with them that we shared. Anything done out of love, will never be regrettable by me. It is a beautiful testimony of our love and I am ever so proud of loving them so boldly. To anyone going through this kind of pain, stay strong and power through it. I know all too well it is not easy. Heartbreak from this kind of betrayal is devastating and should never be treated lightly,β Michelle wrote at the time via Instagram.
After discussing how her former relationship is completely severed, Michelle declined to accept the swirling rumors about her and a new flame- a lady who goes by the name Chipmurnk. Michelle had this to say, “Chipmurnk and I are good friends, and we love each other’s company. And no I’m NOT denying anything, this is truth.”

Rumors that the two were dating started going around when Michelle arrived at her lavish birthday party in the hands of Chipmurnk. Not much is known about Michelle’s rumored girlfriend. A quick look at her Instagram page reveals that she is a tomboyish girl who is into fashion, art, and style.

In another question during her ask me anything session, Michelle revealed that she some day wants to settle down as a wife and raise children of her own. “I’m a family/wifey/marriage kind of woman. I haven’t been the luckiest in love, but I know my time is coming. Rather I choose to believe so. Kids, yes definitely! I’d love a mini-me and I think he/she/they would be just so adorable.”
