Celebrated Kenyan International actress Lupita Nyong’o yesterday left the internet in tears after posting a video with the Late Wakanda lead actor Chadwick Boseman.
Lupita posted a video of a Q&A session with the late actor to celebrate his birthday. Chadwick passed away in August 2020 after battling colon cancer for a long time.
Chadwick and Lupita featured in the first Wakanda Forever movie and they grew fond of each other. Lupita revealed that Chad was responsible for making everyone feel comfortable on set, with his calm demeanor and unmatched command prevailing in the atmosphere.
To celebrate his birthday she said:
“The legacy continues. Join me in honoring Chadwick and his everlasting artistry on his birthday today, and if you can, give to the Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts to support the intellectual, spiritual, and artistic growth of Black storytellers.”
The birthday came just in time as the Wakanda Forever Movie which was made in his honor was recently premiered across the world.

The Wakanda premiere
Our very own Lupita Nyong’o has made a tear-dropping feature in the new Wakanda Forever trailer. Marvel Studios dropped the trailer on Sunday, July 24 to a wild reaction from fans who love comic books.
The trailer starts with Lupita standing on a beach and dressed in green and black body armor. She is sadly gazing at the sea as a rendition of reggae icon Bob Marley’s No Woman No Cry plays in the background.
Lupita appears to be sad at the beginning of the trailer as she remembers what she lost in the movie, and also in real life.
The trailer goes on to get deeper into the story as all the other cast members remember American actor Chadwick Bosman who played the lead role in the first installment of the film.
Lupita played the love interest of Chadwick Bosman and although their story was not followed up much in the film, she was still a big part of the kingdom. Her feature as the first actress who appears in the trailer could mean that she has a huge role to play in the upcoming film.
Lupita shared the emotional trailer on her Instagram and the same was also shared by her fellow actors who got moved by it. According to a caption on her post, the film is set to drop on November 11, 2022.
Fans who commented on the trailer expressed their sadness and also amazement when they saw it. Some had concerns about how the film would do with replacing Chadwick Bosman.

But this trailer proves this film will not only honor his legacy in this role but stay true to the artistic excellence of this story and example. We are excited and cannot wait til 11.11.22 🖤 #wakandaforever #chadwickboseman
