Two people have been killed in separate road accidents in Buruburu and Waiyaki Way in Nairobi.
The first incident happened when an unknown vehicle along Outering Road near Mutindwa Footbridge knocked down a man.
According to police, the 29-year-old man identified as John Kisavi was crossing the road when the vehicle did not stop heading towards Embakasi general direction.
Police say he suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot.
The body was moved to Mama Lucy Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Elsewhere, on Waiyaki Way along Chiromo Road, a Mercedes Axor trailer heading towards CBD direction hit a motorcycle on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old man police identified as James Simon suffered serious injuries and was rushed to KNH for treatment.
According to police, the 19-year-old pillion passenger Miatri Hitesh suffered head injuries and a deep cut on the belly.
Police say she was rushed to Poplar Hospital Ngara where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
The body was moved to MP Shah Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Both motorcycle and motor vehicle were detained at the station pending inspection.
The case is pending investigation, police said.
