Anti-government protests are set to continue in Nairobi today.
Activist Boniface Mwangi notified the police on Wednesday of the plan to march to Harambee House to present a petition.
In a letter addressed to Nairobi central police station OCS, Mwangi said they will convene at Kimathi Street and march through Moi Avenue to Harambee House before proceeding to Parliament Road to lay flowers in memory of those killed during the protests.
They are demanding justice for the victims.
Supplementary estimates
MPs are set to consider a report from the Budget and Appropriations Committee on the supplementary estimates for the 2024-25 financial year.
Nuru Okanga case
ODM supporter Nuru Okanga to appear in court for a case where he is charged with publishing false, defamatory, and threatening information.
When he appeared on court on June 19, the court was also told that Okanga with others not before the court, through an unlawful broadcast while using his social accounts, published videos, which was in contravention of the provisions of an issued valid licence.
