The Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service (KEPHIS) is set to hold the first international seed quality conference.
The conference will provide seed actors with an opportunity to share their experiences and achievements and acquire new knowledge about seed quality.
The event will take place from August 19 to 22, 2024 at KEPHIS Headquarters in Nairobi.
The conference will be held under the theme, ‘Seed Quality Assurance and Technological Advances for Climate Change Adaptation towards sustainable food and nutrition security’.
KEPHIS also said that they will have discussions on how seed actors can adapt to climate change to increase production.
The conference will be held in partnership with Agri Experience, Centre of Phytosanitary Excellence (COPE) and the Government of Kenya.
