Police on Saturday retrieved a body of a man that was seen floating at Thiririka river along Kanjata Coffee Estate in Kiambu.
Police said that the man, Pius Kamau, was last seen at Kahata shopping center before he went missing.
According to a police statement, Kamau’s body was seen floating at around 8 am.
“It was reported by Kiganjo assistant chief and a resident of Kiganjo village that today at around 8 am, the village elder informed him that there was an unknown person floating at Thiririka river,” the statement read.
Police said that his body was positively identified by the brother.
His body was taken to Kenyatta University Hospital Mortuary awaiting Autopsy.
