KwaZulu-Natal Education MEC Kwazi Mshengu is expected to visit a Pinetown school on Thursday.
Four pupils were allegedly stabbed by robbers who stormed onto the school premises. School safety | WATCH: Safety should remain primary concern
The pupils are currently recovering in hospital and one of the three suspects has been arrested.
Witnesses say the robbers had guns and knives and demanded valuables from teachers and pupils. Police are searching for two more suspects.
