The University of Nairobi ushered in a new era of leadership on January 12, 2024, with the appointment of Prof Patrick Verkooijen as its Chancellor.
On Friday, the University held his installation ceremony, during its 71st graduation.
“It is my great honour to be able to share my vision with you for this university, which represents the true essence of the great nation of Kenya, and whose founding President, and first chancellor of this University Jomo Kenyatta, once said: “Our task is to make ourselves the architects of the future,” Verkooijen said.
