President William Ruto has said the number of advisors in the government will be reduced by 50 percent.
“The number of advisors in government shall be reduced by 50 percent within the public service with immediate effect,” he said.
The President said the reduction takes effect with immediate effect.

Police have arrested four more suspects linked to the arson incident where CDF offices were looted and torched in Kikuyu Constituency during the Finance Bill protests. Police said several recoveries were made from their houses.
One of the suspects, police said, is a driver at a primary school in the area and a 32″ TV set was recovered from his house. He led the officers to his accomplice who was also in possession of another 32″ Sony TV belonging to the CDF offices. Read More
