Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has urged President William Ruto to respect his predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta.
Speaking at the Limuru III conference at Kabuku in Kiambu county on Friday, Karua said that Uhuru Kenyatta has done a lot for the country.
She said that in the same way, Ruto would expect respect once he retires from office, he should do it to former president.
“Leave Uhuru Kenyatta alone, he is our leader and he deserves respect,” she said.
Karua further urged the community to unite and speak in one voice irrespective of their political affiliations.
She said that going forward, Mount Kenya would remain united.
“We should not be divided because of politics, we should be each others brothers keepers,” Karua said.
Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni said that there is a need for Limuru IV.
He said that all political parties would unite and work under the symbol of Umbrella.
Kioni said that all GEMA community will walk and support each other.
