Narok town MCA Lucas Ole Kudate will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 22.
In a statement on X, the ODM party said Kudate will be laid to rest at his Ololeshwa village in Narok North.
“Kudate was elected on the ODM party ticket and was serving his first term in the Assembly,” ODM said.
Kudate died on February 16.
“We regret to announce the passing on of Lucas Kudake, Narok MCA after a long illness bravely borne,” ODM said in a statement on February 16.
In eulogizing him, the Raila Odinga-led party termed the MCA as a dedicated, hardworking, and loyal member, who worked tirelessly to keep the party stronger on the ground.
The party passed its condolences to the family saying, “We join his family in mourning this great man.”
His death announcement came in the same month after the ODM party lost three members; Joseph Njoroge, a branch official in Kiambu, a branch youth league official in Gem, and a former MCA in Teso South.
