Gauteng: At 16H26 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on Van Riebeeck Street in Kempton Park on the East Rand.
Reports indicate that three adult males from a security bakkie and two adult males from a car had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in what was alleged to be an armed robbery and subsequent shootout will law enforcement.
Medics assessed all five patients from two different locations and found that they had sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
