The godfather of comedy has taken his legacy to a new height by launching a foundation.
Churchill hosted a black-tie event, where he unveiled the Churchill Foundation.
He will be the chairperson of the Churchill Foundation.
The press statement reads, “The foundation has put several projects in place that work to positively impact society and infuse a sense of dignity to society especially the very poor and marginalised.
“The foundation aims to apply several programmes, which will be unveiled on December 16, 2021.”
In an interview with Word Is, he said the legacy he craves after he leaves the industry is to see more talents coming up.
He has given a platform to hundreds of comedians in the country.
“I look forward to seeing the entertainment industry getting the respect it deserves.”
Churchill was feted at the 6th edition of the Annual African Entertainment Awards, USA (AEAUSA) in 2020 for his exemplary work in the comedy industry.
