Kenya’s leading music group Sauti Sol will be hosting the ‘Sol Fest’ concert on Sunday, December 11.
The event will be going down at the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi. The group will perform their Midnight Train album.
Speaking at a presser yesterday, Chimano said he is excited to finally be back on stage.
Polycarp said it is going to be great.
“The lineup is fire as well. Thanks to our partners Homeboyz Entertainment, Radio Africa, you have done an amazing job and we are thankful,” he said.
“We want to change standards in the Kenyan music industry in terms of live performances.”
The group has partnered with the Radio Africa Group, which will be covering the Sol Fest. Radio Africa’s head of events and Homeboyz general manager Somoina Kimojino spoke about the partnership with Sauti Sol.
“We have always been supporters of arts and Sauti Sol for us, this is exciting. We hope to amplify it further and continue to grow our partnership beyond our borders and see where it takes us,” she said.
Bien assured fans the concert will be a different experience for them.
“This year we are in control of everything. The last one, which created a toxic relationship with our fans, was all planned by the promoter,” he said.
“The entire event is being handled in-house and we are setting the standard.”
Other artistes in the lineup include Femi One, Nandy, Wakadinali, Chris Kahiga, Bensoul, and Nviiri.
