Kisumu county Finance chief officer, Akaka Ramoya has died


Kisumu county government has lost its Finance Chief Officer Akaka Ramoya.

“It is with pain and profound shock that we announce the death of my Chief Officer for Finance,” Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o said on Saturday.

Ramoya passed on on Saturday morning at Avenue Hospital, Kisumu after an illness.

Nyong’o said Ramoya was a dedicated, intelligent, and great civil servant.

“On behalf of my family and the entire government of Kisumu County, I want to commit the family especially his wife Salome Akaka and the children in the hands of God at this very trying and difficult moment,” he said.

“May the Almighty God receive and keep his soul in eternal peace”.
