Mihlali Ndamase’s First TV Hosting Gig

Mihlali Ndamase is working hard at decorating her résumé to make it look very impressive. The influencer has bagged her very first TV hosting gig at the first-of-a-kind Buyel’Ekhaya Music Festival! Co-hosting the event is the funny and very talented Moshe Ndiki, the multi-talented Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung.

You know her from the socials, now experience the magic of SA’s favourite influencer. @mihlalii_n. She’ll be hosting this year’s first-of-a-kind Buyel’Ekhaya Music Festival,” the announcement said.

This musical event aims at ensuring that South Africans are kept entertained at the comfort of their own homes. “Your favourite music and cultural festival is back with a twist, mntase! This year we’re celebrating iBuyel’Ekhaya nabantu basekhaya. Stay home, stay safe and tune in for i-nice time.”

Keeping the masses entertained this year is South Africa’s most talented artists such as Scorpion Kings DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, Ami Faku, Sha Sha, Vusi Nova, Mafikizolo, Ringo, Master KG, Prince Kaybee, Sun El Musician and many more.


According to the festival’s website, the event is going on it’s 10th year this year and is a celebration of Africanism and what it means to be African,

“The Buyel’ Ekhaya Pan African Festival is a call to pay homage to African arts, ranging from indigenous African crafts, exhibitions, indigenous music, dance, fashion and film. It seeks to be a platform for Pan African talent and celebrates Africa’s virtues through song, dance and other cultural forms; whilst preserving, promoting and authenticating what being African means.”

“My first ever TV hosting gig, so looking forward to be having the time of my life at the Buyel’Ekhaya Music Festival on 26 December on Mzansi Magic, Channel 161 at 21:30. Will you be joining me?” she wrote ecstatically.

Mihlali laughed at the open letter, but in a separate incident, she said, “Black women cannot be successful without being questioned if it’s not a cult accusation then it’s something along the lines of “she’s sleeping with mang’s father,” she said.

Viewers can enjoy the festival on 26 December at 21:30 PM, on Mzansi Magic, Channel 161.
