Singer Akothee has been crying foul for almost a week now after losing her Youtube account.
Akothee’s account was pulled down last week following copyright issues something that has left her ranting online since.
In a post on Instagram, Akothee has now revealed that her manager has been embezzling her money from the streaming company. She said her manager has pocketed the earnings since 2019 and the company which manages her Youtube account, Ngoma, had no idea too.
“I know I lost money from 2019 backwards since my management then pocketed all the money from my YouTube earnings, me being too busy with other projects, I trusted him and left him to handle that sector and collected revenue on my behalf, one day I woke up, and told him to give me Clemmo’s number. Every time I asked if we are not receiving any money from Youtube, he said he can’t get hold of Clemmo,” narrated Akothee.
Akothee’s cry comes at a time when comedian Flaqo also lost his Youtube account which had over 100K subscribers. He was also being managed by Ngoma.
