Nick Mutuma has finally broken his silence over se-xual harassment allegations that have plagued him for the last 3 years.
In 2017, the actor was accused by one Koome Gitobu of se-xually harassing his girlfriend and the accusations have since resurfaced following the debut of his films on Netflix.
This time the accusations came with consequences as some women demanded that his films ‘Sincerely Daisy’ and ‘Disconnect’ be pulled down from Netflix over these allegations.
Taking to Twitter, Nick wrote “Last few days have been a nightmare for me and my family. Here’s my truth.”
He then went on to share a lengthy post.
“I know I’m not perfect, but I’m not the person these people tried to portray me as,” his statement read in part.
“This has been very difficult for me and my family not just because of the things said about us on social media, but because it has been very difficult to talk about this. I don’t want my silence to be misinterpreted as guilt or complacency yet I also did not want to speak out and have my words twisted and misrepresented. It is unfortunate that despite this, I have now been put on trial in the court of public opinion, prosecuted and ruled guilty by persons with malicious intentions,” he disclosed.

Koome Gitobu had also taken to Twitter to state that he and his partner had since moved on from the issue.
So. After this @nickmutuma issue resurfaced, my partner & I have been discussing how best to go about all this. To be very clear, this was an issue Nick & my family resolved back in 2017 & we since moved on from. This is what my partner has to say: https://t.co/gOxSSGbFLK
