Chadwick Boseman’s throwback interview with Top African TV Personality

We’re still in disbelief following the untimely passing of American actor Chadwick Boseman. The Black Panther and 21 Bridges star lost a four-year battle with cancer. Today we look at some of our favourite moments with the star, including this throwback interview with Minnie Dlamini.

In 2019, Minnie Dlamini rocked the red carpet at the premiere of 21 Bridges; an action thriller movie which stars Chadwick Boseman.

Sharing a video of what went down at the event, Mrs Jones wrote, “The NYC Premiere of the new @chadwickboseman movie #21Bridges
I interviewed the cast on the red carpet in NYC before the screening here’s what they had to say 🎤@[email protected] 🎬🗽🇿🇦💎 They really love South Africa ♥️😊”

Chadwick Boseman 21 bridgesChadwick, who plays an NYPD detective and is also the producer of the movie, had this to say:

“It’s very important if you have the opportunity and the skill to bring films to the world that you’re doing, especially because we have to continue to push for our stories … push for representation in certain places,” adding that it is important t for Black people to tell their own stories.

As he battled cancer ‘Black Panther’ actor Chadwick lost a dramatic amount of weight and when he shared his photos people were quick to attack.
