Keroche Breweries CEO Tabitha Karanja has finally opened up after her daughter Tecra Muigai died in unclear circumstances in May while in Lamu.
Karanja, while marking 100 days since her death, said the pain is still there even though people insist time heals everything.
“Her death left me brokenhearted without an idea of how to move forward. People say to give it time,” Karanja said.
Karanja went on to say that her firstborn daughter was always her voice both in the entrepreneur and social life and deeply misses her. Tecra, who was just 29 years old, had a following like her younger sister Anerlisa and her mother appreciated this.
“I dearly miss her counsel and company. I’ve heard from friends in 20 countries whose lives Tecra touched and inspired. Her life proves what differentiates people is – opportunity,” she said.
