US-based content creator Elsa Majimbo has expressed her love for South Africans.
Through a tweet on her X account, Elsa said she has no words that can describe how the people of South Africa have always come through for her.
“Damn, I love South Africa. Like ride-or-die kind of love. South Africans have shown up for me in ways I have no words to describe. Just here to acknowledge and be grateful,” Elsa said.
The content creator has always shown her love for the people of South Africa who have also unconditionally reciprocated the gesture.
Elsa made a move by making the South African flag part of her X account bio.
Ever since she put the flag on her bio, she has never removed it, a clear indication of her love for the country.
On November 26 last year, the Kenyan US-based celebrity was in a feud with Kenyans for a long time and it spiralled.
Kenyans waited for Elsa to respond to videos being shared of her supposedly saying she hates Kenya.
Elsa went ahead and informed Kenyans she was ready to part with $1000 for anyone with the proof she said she hates her home country.
Through her X account, she wrote;
“I will pay $1000 to anyone who can produce a video of me saying the words ‘I hate Kenya’.”
Elsa vehemently denied uttering such words from a probe from a fan;
“Everyone says I do when I don’t and have never said those words and I never will,” the youngest person on Forbes insisted.
Following the social media uproar over her additional comments, singer KRG the Don also weighed in urging Elsa to take an offer from him to renounce her Kenyan citizenship.
“I wanna pay this young blood (Elsa Majimbo) $5m to cease being Kenyan because she made small and silly money (sic) and thought Kenya as a country is a disgrace to her.”
