Kenya recorded 15 new coronavirus cases bringing the country’s total number to 296, Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi said.
Out of these, 11 are Kenyans, while four are foreigners. Seven hail from Mombasa County, six from Nairobi County while two come from Mandera County.
With regard to gender, seven are males while eight are female, all aged between 19-75 years of age.
The CAS said, in addition, said that six of the cases are from quarantine centres while nine were picked up by MoH surveillance teams.
On a positive note, the CAS said that five patients had recovered from Coronavirus and have since been discharged bringing the total of recoveries to 74.
